Job Summary

Squeeze is looking for a Senior Lighting Artist to develop and improve the lighting pipeline, establish rigorous working methods, and optimize the quality of each plan. The selected candidate will be in charge of lighting key plans, ensuring adherence to the director's vision, and collaborating with compositing departments to create high-quality visuals. This is a short contract from January 12 to January 26, 2026.

Must Have

  • Develop and improve the lighting pipeline
  • Make light sequences, key plans and spread the light rigs
  • Ensure that the lighting follows the vision established by the director
  • Establish rendering passes for compositing
  • Optimize work techniques and develop methods for a more efficient production
  • Collaborate with the compositing departments to elaborate quality visuals
  • At least 5 years of experience in lighting for animation productions
  • Education related to the position and the animation industry (DEC, AEC, Bachelor, etc.)
  • Experience with Redshift and Maya
  • Excellent comprehension of light, contrast, colour palettes and graphic compositing
  • Self-motivated
  • Good communicator

YOUR ROLE

Squeeze is looking for a lighting artist. We are looking for someone who can develop the pipeline, set a rigorous working method in the lighting department and improve it. The selected candidate will be in charge of lighting key plans and will optimize the quality of each plan.
