Job Summary
Atomic Cartoons is seeking an experienced Line Producer to lead an upcoming 2D project. This role involves managing daily production operations, preparing schedules and budgets, communicating with clients, and collaborating with directors and supervisors. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of industry experience in a production management role, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Must Have
- Manage and lead daily operations of the entire production
- Prepare, maintain and update production schedules, budget and reports
- Communicate directly with clients to discuss creative directions
- Work closely with Directors, Department Supervisors and Production Coordinators
- Lead regular production meetings and evaluate production progress
- Assist in crew staffing and interviews
- Meet milestones deadlines as required by the client
- 5+ years of industry experience in a production manager or higher role for a large team
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced studio environment
- Strong verbal, written and e-communication skills
- Able to legally work in Canada
- Applicants must have resided within BC as of December 31, 2024 and be able to provide the appropriate supporting documents
Good to Have
- Previous experience producing an animated series
- Expert knowledge of CG and/or 2D disciplines
- Experience with Flow (FKA Shotgrid/Shotgun) for production tracking, submitting and publishing
- BC residents preferred

Atomic Cartoons Inc. is an award-winning animation studio with locations in Vancouver's Mt. Pleasant Animation District, Ottawa's Hintonburg neighborhood and Los Angeles. Since its inception over 25 years ago, Atomic Cartoons has created and produced numerous 2D and CG animation productions including Princess Power and Last Kids on Earth. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- Expert knowledge of CG and/or 2D disciplines an asset.
- Experience with Flow (FKA Shotgrid/Shotgun) for production tracking, submitting and publishing an asset.

START DATE: December 2025

At Atomic Cartoons and Thunderbird Entertainment, we take into consideration a wide range of compensation factors including background, skills, location, and experience to determine competitive pay. In addition to competitive pay, this position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits including medical, GRSP, vacation pay, paid holiday break, paid leave, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Please note: This expected pay range is for British Columbia and is not applicable to locations outside of the province of British Columbia.
Wage ranges are based on a weekly rate.
Vancouver Pay Range
$1,800 - $2,500 CAD
