Logistic Operation Supervisor
Responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring on-time, accurate order processing and delivery performance. This role plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction, avoiding production disruptions, and supporting continuous improvement within logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary communication link between customers, manufacturing plants, and internal functions to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage customer orders, shipment scheduling, and delivery execution to prevent production line interruptions.
- Monitor and follow up on regular and expedited shipments, identifying cost-effective logistics solutions when needed.
- Oversee and support recovery plans for delayed shipments or critical situations, escalating issues through Tier meetings when required.
- Track plant performance and customer scorecards, taking action to address any potential issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams to maintain accurate system data, including EDI setups, profiles, variants, and order updates in SAP.
- Review and resolve past dues, IDOCs, and customer disputes in a timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and 3-Leg 5-Why to optimize logistics and material flow processes.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Energy Management standards, reporting any deviations.
- Maintain professional and ethical behavior in all interactions and comply with internal regulations, customer requirements, and company policies.

- Empowered to stop any activity or condition that poses a safety, environmental, or quality risk.
- Authorized to escalate issues to leadership that may impact customer satisfaction, safety, or operational efficiency.
- Authorized to provide feedback to promote best practices in safety, quality, and energy efficiency.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Solid understanding of supply chain, logistics, and material control processes.
- Analytical, organized, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Computer literacy; SAP and EDI knowledge preferred.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Training or experience in SAP and EDI preferred.
- English proficiency required.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production control, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred.
