BECORIT GmbH, located in Recklinghausen, is a leading global provider of sophisticated system components in the railway sector. As part of the international Wabtec Group, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our team. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing all value creation and supply chain processes at the production site, working closely with the Site Director and Production Manager, and collaborating with corporate stakeholders to actively and strategically shape the supply chain.
Must Have:
  • Coordinate logistics, planning, purchasing, and customer service to increase efficiency.
  • Analyze and monitor KPIs for continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure a holistic process structure and coach involved departments.
  • Conduct contract negotiations with suppliers and customers and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Optimize and control all goods flows and ensure delivery performance.
  • Be responsible for customs management and export control.
  • Develop and implement strategies for process optimization and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Completed technical or commercial studies (ideally with a focus on Logistics, Supply Chain, or Purchasing) or comparable education with relevant professional experience.
  • Several years of leadership experience in an industrial environment.
  • Very good MS Office skills.
  • Fluent English skills in spoken and written.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a:

You are responsible for managing and optimizing all value creation and supply chain processes at the production site. In close cooperation with the Site Director and the Production Manager, as well as in professional exchange with corporate stakeholders, you actively and strategically shape the Supply Chain.

Your tasks:

  • Coordination of logistics, planning, purchasing, and customer service to increase efficiency
  • Analysis and monitoring of KPIs for continuous process improvement
  • Ensuring a holistic process structure and coaching of the involved departments
  • Contract negotiations with suppliers and customers as well as maintaining long-term partnerships
  • Optimization and control of all goods flows and ensuring delivery performance
  • Responsibility for customs management and export control
  • Development and implementation of strategies for process optimization and interdisciplinary collaboration

Your profile:

  • Completed technical or commercial studies - ideally with a focus on Logistics, Supply Chain, or Purchasing (career starters also welcome)
  • Alternatively: Comparable education with relevant professional experience
  • Several years of leadership experience in an industrial environment
  • Very good MS Office skills
  • Interest in process optimization and supply chain management
  • Analytical thinking and structured way of working
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Initiative, willingness to learn, and high solution orientation
  • Fluent English skills in spoken and written
  • Customer-oriented thinking and entrepreneurial cost awareness
