The Quality Engineer, reporting to the quality supervisor, will be responsible for product quality improvement, new product development, and evaluation. Key duties include on-site inspections, root cause analysis for quality issues, production process troubleshooting, and managing customer complaints. The role also involves preparing documentation like OTS/PPAP packages, implementing quality control standards, and driving continuous improvement in reject rates.
Must Have:- Responsible for products quality improvement, new product development and evaluation.
- Responsible for on-site inspection/audit to ensure product conformity with the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conduct investigation, improvement, analysis of root cause, preventive and corrective action for solving quality problems.
- Perform investigation, data analysis and trouble-shooting on production process.
- Handle claims and inspection activities with internal department and suppliers.
- Prepare and evaluate new development samples, ensure the APQP process with smooth move.
- Coordinate with internal departments on customer complaints related to quality matters.
- Prepare OTS/PPAP package doc, safe launch plan & product audit instruction.
- Implement and improve process quality control standards, accurate standardized inspection or control.
- Responsibility of leading and driving internal final reject ppm continuous improvement, weekly & monthly report on evolution and action plan.
- Control implementation of ECN in process.
- Provide on-job training for quality standard, quality concept.
- On-time trouble shooting for line quality issue, internal 8D leader & handle customer complaints and 8D response to closure.
- Deal with nonconformity products in process.
- Optimize Control Plan & inspection standard & SPC data maintenance.
- Customer communication.
- Coordinate 8D report for customer complaint and follow up closure of C/A during PPAP & mass production phase.
- Receive customer audit and conduct process audit.
- Visit customer if request.
