Job Summary
The Logistic Trainee will gain practical experience in various aspects of logistics operations within a manufacturing environment, supporting the efficient flow of materials and products. Responsibilities include assisting with inbound and outbound shipments, supporting inventory management, learning warehousing procedures, collaborating with internal departments, analyzing logistics data, and maintaining accurate records.
Must Have
- Assist with coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling and documentation.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock counts, reconciliation, and data entry.
- Learn and apply company procedures for warehousing, material handling, and distribution.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, purchasing) to ensure timely material availability.
- Participate in the analysis of logistics data to identify areas for process improvement.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports related to logistics activities.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment in the warehouse and logistics areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proactive and eager to learn about logistics operations.
Good to Have
- Prior internship or relevant coursework in logistics or supply chain.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
