Logistics Manager M/F

FDL, the 5th largest wine bottling site in France and part of the Agromousquetaires Group, is seeking a Logistics Manager (M/F) for an 18-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of 20 forklift operators and 3 proximity managers. Your role involves coordinating and optimizing inbound/outbound flows and storage, supervising team activities, communicating key performance indicators, and ensuring quality interactions with internal and external stakeholders, all while respecting budgets.

Must Have

• Coordinate and optimize incoming and outgoing flows and storage of raw materials and finished products in the warehouse, automated storage system, and external storage providers.
• Supervise the activity of employees under your responsibility, ensuring safety compliance, scheduling, conflict management, and on-the-job training.
• Communicate key indicators and results of your department, and propose improvement actions.
• Ensure the quality of exchanges with other internal departments (production, maintenance) and group contacts (carriers, supply chain).
• Respect allocated budgets (forklift fleet, storage units).
• Bac+2/3 degree in logistics.
• First successful experience in team management.
• Solid skills in flow management and warehouse organization.
• Proficient with IT tools: Excel, WMS, ERP.

Company Description

FDL specializes in the selection, conditioning, and trading of wines, as well as the bottling of spring waters. We are equipped with 9 automated production lines, 8 of which are dedicated to wine, for an annual production of 148 million product units.

The 5th largest wine bottling site in France, this production unit is part of the Agromousquetaires Group's Savours Division, the industrial division of the Les Mousquetaires Group, with whom it achieves 22.5% market share in private label (MDD).

Job Description

As part of a replacement, we are looking for a Logistics Manager (M/F), on a fixed-term contract for 18 months.

You will report to Fabienne, our Operations Manager, and drive your dynamic within the logistics department (dry goods reception, shipments), composed of 20 forklift operators and 3 proximity managers.

In short, your missions:

• Coordinate and optimize incoming and outgoing flows, and the storage of raw materials and finished products, in our warehouse, our automated storage system, and at our external storage providers.
• Supervise the activity of the employees under your responsibility: compliance with Safety instructions, scheduling, management of conflicts and disciplinary issues, on-the-job training.
• Communicate on the key indicators and results of your department, be proactive in proposing improvement actions to be implemented.
• Ensure the quality of exchanges with other internal departments (production, maintenance, etc.) and group contacts (carriers, supply chain).
• Respect the budgets allocated to you (forklift fleet, storage units).

Additional Information

Contract: Fixed-term contract (CDD), Agent de maîtrise status, 37h/week from Monday to Friday, 11 RTT/year.

Remuneration and benefits: 35K€ to 39K€ gross annual salary to be refined according to your experience, gratification annexed to the conventional scale, transport bonus, participation (profit-sharing), company catering service.

Location: Prahecq (79 230), 10 min from Niort and 45 min from La Rochelle.
