Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute logistics projects aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics workflows, reduce lead times, and improve service levels.

  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to address logistics issues and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive operational excellence.

  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations, including customs requirements and safety standards.

  • Provide training and support to internal teams on shipping requirements and best practices.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, performance metrics, and logistics KPIs.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of logistics processes and project plans.

  • Conduct regular audits of logistics processes and documentation to ensure compliance.  

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or trade compliance, with a focus on project management.

  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing logistics projects and driving process improvements.

  • Knowledge of working with various ERP & TMS systems or other systems that are similar.

  • Strong communication skills, particularly in written correspondence such as email, are essential for this role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

  • Proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with supply chain optimization models and analysis (financial assessments).

  • Knowledge or experience when it comes to project management, specifically ensuring a consistent flow of communication to various partners and stakeholders.

  • Ability to effectively manage and adhere to deadlines and the capability to prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects and assignments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in international logistics or cruise related position(s) a plus.

  • Proficient working with various ERP & TMS systems, including database knowledge – e.g. SAP, ORACLE, AMOS.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or relevant work experience.
