The M365 Administrator/Specialist manages and optimizes an organization's Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. This role requires extensive Microsoft 365 administration experience, strong problem-solving skills, and staying updated on the latest features and best practices. Must have:
  • Administer OneDrive for Business, including setup, user access, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Manage Microsoft Teams for collaboration, including channel creation, meetings, and integrations.
  • Monitor and address management issues for operational efficiency.
  • Plan and execute Microsoft 365 migrations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Stay updated on new Microsoft 365 features, recommending improvements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Document and maintain Microsoft 365 configurations, processes, and procedures.

Job Description

The M365 Administrator/Specialist manages and optimizes an organization's Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams. This role requires extensive Microsoft 365 administration experience, strong problem-solving skills, and staying updated on the latest features and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer OneDrive for Business, ensuring proper setup and user access, as well as usage monitoring and reporting.
  • Establish and manage Microsoft Teams for collaboration, including channel creation, meetings, and integrations.
  • Monitor and address management issues to maintain operational efficiency.

Migration and Integration

  • Plan and execute migrations, upgrades, and integrations of Microsoft 365 with other systems and platforms.
  • Stay updated on new features and capabilities of Microsoft 365, recommending improvements and optimizations when appropriate.

User Support and Training

  • Provide training and support to end-users on Microsoft 365 applications and features.
  • Document and maintain configurations, processes, and procedures related to Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified) is a plus.
