We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mac System Administrator to support our IT infrastructure and ensure the smooth operation of systems and networks. The role involves assisting with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network resources, while ensuring optimal system performance and security.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in a sound recording, dubbing, or post-production studio environment.
  • Familiarity with control surfaces, sound consoles, and audio interfaces.
  • Understanding of network and system security fundamentals.
Must Have:
  • Provide technical support for Mac OS systems, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain audio-related software, plugins, and applications used in recording and mixing studios.
  • Manage and update software licenses, DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations), and sound plugins.
  • Support and maintain networked storage systems (NAS/SAN) connected to Mac systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to audio hardware interfaces, studio equipment, and recording systems.
  • Coordinate with IT and audio teams for system upgrades, backups, and hardware setup.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, licenses, and configurations.
  • Ensure smooth operation during recording, dubbing, and mixing sessions.
  • Be available to work during extended hours or weekends, as required by production schedules.
  • Strong working knowledge of Mac OS, Mac hardware, and the Apple ecosystem.
  • Understanding of audio workflows, DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or similar.
  • Experience managing audio plugins, software licensing, and DAW configurations.
  • Knowledge of networked storage systems (NAS/SAN) and data workflows.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory (AD).
  • Working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control Systems, and EPABX systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure in a studio environment.
