We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Manager to support the Corporate FP&A team. This role involves participating in monthly forecast and annual planning processes, primarily managing company-wide Corporate (non-Departmental) spend. The individual will collaborate with Finance Business Partners and HR Compensation and benefit teams, focusing on proactive data-driven financial insights and working in a collaborative, dynamic environment. Experience with Anaplan or similar tools is beneficial.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Manager to support the Corporate FP&A team. Along with working on various high-visibility projects to accelerate the Future of Finance within the team, this person will also participate in the monthly forecast and annual planning processes. This individual would be primarily responsible for managing spend planning and forecasting for Companywide Corporate (non-Departmental) spend while collaborating with Finance Business Partners ("FBPs") and HR Compensation and benefit teams.

The right person for this role will demonstrate strong potential for generating proactive data-driven financial insights to FP&A leadership, as well as the ability to work in a highly collaborative and dynamically changing business environment. Previous experience working with Anaplan models or other forecasting and analytical tools is a strategic benefit for this role.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking ability, effective communication skills and emotional intelligence in the form of empathy, diplomacy and tact to be able to work effectively with professionals across the entire organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Corporate/ Non-Department spend planning and forecasting processes which includes Centralized spend budget for Annual incentive plans, Fringe benefits, other income and expenses etc., driving clarity and transparency across the various stakeholder groups throughout the company
  • Partner closely with HR compensation and benefits leadership on the development of executive and broad-based incentive programs, discussing outcomes with the executive team
  • Lead the annual spend target setting process, collaborating effectively with business unit finance teams and presenting outcomes and recommendations to senior executives
  • Lead Corporate FP&A’s periodic reporting and analysis process, presenting results and insights as well as informed narratives which explain ‘why’
  • Provide strategic direction to the business units around corp spend forecasting and planning efforts and assist in influencing the bigger-picture implications of their actions and strategies
  • Play a critical role defining end-state, identifying and prioritizing opportunities for improvement, proposing solutions and driving meaningful change
  • Lead our efforts to drive the digitization and optimization of spend planning and forecasting processes (the “Future of Finance”) by shaping our vision, defining strategies and delivering process improvements in partnership with the broader FP&A team. Help us realize the promise of connected financial planning by furthering the adoption of next generation cloud platforms

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (CPA and/or MBA preferred)
  • 6-8 years of related finance experience
  • Prior experience in a high-tech organization with global reach
  • Deep financial modeling and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience with Anaplan, SAP, power BI and Business Object is a plus
  • Business acumen is critical - the ability to understand corporate strategy and relate everything we do to the pursuit of such a strategy
