Job Description

Autodesk Water Customer Success is seeking a Technical Account Specialist with strong experience in storm, sewer, and flood (SSF) modeling, particularly using InfoWorks ICM. This role involves guiding and supporting customers across Asia Pacific and India, delivering expert coaching to drive adoption of Autodesk Water solutions. Responsibilities include model building, calibration, integration with other systems, IT strategy, and acting as a technical trusted advisor to maximize customer success and product adoption.
Good To Have:
  • Expert Knowledge in competitor products such as DHI, Bentley, Tuflow
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Knowledge of the water industry in APAC/India /Middle East region
  • Technical consulting experience and/or technical project delivery experience with large, demanding customers
Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Storm/Sewer/Flood Analysis
  • Expert Knowledge in InfoWorks ICM, including best practice model building for 2D flood and overland flow routing, river modelling, scripting (ICM Exchange), real time modeling, water quality, real time control, and risk analysis
  • Experience with cloud environments
  • Additional expertise in InfoDrainage and/or InfoAsset Manager
  • Ability to manage several projects at a time, setting the right priorities
  • Proven ability to be flexible and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical details coherently to a live or virtual audience
  • Enthusiasm and passion for technology and innovation
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels
  • Must be flexible, decisive, self-motivated and proactive

Position Overview

Autodesk Water Customer Success is looking for professionals with strong experience in storm, sewer, and flood (SSF) modeling, especially using InfoWorks ICM, to guide and support customers throughout their water lifecycle journey.

This person will work closely with existing accounts across Asia Pacific and India. You will join the Emerging Business Customer Success (EBCS) organization – a team that values professional development and rewards high performance. EBCS is responsible for maximizing the success of and return on investment for our customers. We do this by delivering proactive support and professional, customized product services that help our customers achieve their business goals while maximizing the use and adoption of Autodesk solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering expert coaching to Autodesk Water customers to drive customer adoption, which could include:
  • Model build and import from other model types.
  • Calibration or verification against observed data.
  • Model use to address the current or future needs of the catchment.
  • Integration with other systems to present the metrics important to their work.
  • IT strategy, whether this is use of the Autodesk Cloud, or their own Cloud or on-premise system.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with customers as a technical trusted advisor, activities including customer interactions, webinars, conferences, and customer events.
  • Identify and improve self-served material to drive better adoption of our tools.
  • Demonstrating thought leadership and product expertise internally to help drive the product portfolio and work collaboratively with the customer success team, sales, product, and strategy teams.
  • Technical assistance and recommendations for customers based on data analytics.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related
  • 7+ years of experience Storm/Sewer/Flood Analysis experience
  • Expert Knowledge in InfoWorks ICM. Best practice model building and ensuring that models are stable, particularly when applied to:
  • 2D flood and overland flow routing
  • River modelling
  • Scripting, including ICM Exchange
  • Real time modeling
  • Water quality
  • Real time control
  • Risk analysis
  • Expert Knowledge in competitor products such as DHI, Bentley, Tuflow is a plus
