At Hasbro, we're seeking a creative Marketing Strategist to lead retail programs for Hasbro brands at Target. You'll develop strategies and execute campaigns, both online and in-store, by analyzing media KPIs and transforming insights into action. This role involves shaping Target Roundel campaigns, creating eye-catching displays, and driving impulse buys to make Hasbro brands unforgettable for shoppers. You will also lead exclusive product development and manage trade activation budgets.
Must have:
  • Lead strategy and execution of retail programs that connect with shoppers online and in-store.
  • Analyze media KPIs and transform insights into action.
  • Shape Target Roundel campaigns and deliver eye-catching displays.
  • Partner with key licensors such as Disney, Paramount, Universal, Sony, etc. to launch collaborative campaigns.
  • Lead exclusive product development briefing from big ideas to financial strategy.
  • Manage trade activation budgets, track results, and turn KPIs into smarter, more impactful marketing.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to Target, Hasbro global teams, and senior leadership.
  • Help drive Hasbro’s presence at key events like Target previews, Toy Fair, and major internal showcases.
  • Share insights, spot trends, and fuel collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Global Development teams.
  • Champion Hasbro values by encouraging bold ideas, driving change, and creating strategies that power long-term growth.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in CPG marketing, sales, or retail.
  • 2+ years partnering with Target Roundel Media Group on digital, social, and influencer campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • Expertise in building fully integrated retail programs and consumer promotions.
  • Exceptional communicator with clear, concise direction and feedback skills.
  • Strong influencer who can rally cross-functional teams.
  • Confident presenter with outstanding storytelling and persuasion skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid understanding of corporate financials.
  • Experience in a retail supplier environment, with strong project management and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, curious self-starter who embraces new ideas and challenges the status quo.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to build strong partnerships and influence across teams.
  • Decisive leadership to make informed, timely decisions.
  • Shopper-first strategy with a sharp understanding of consumer response to marketing tactics.

We’re seeking a fun, creative, and driven Marketing Strategist to bring Hasbro brands to life at Target. In this role, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of retail programs that connect with shoppers online and in-store. By analyzing media KPIs and transforming insights into action, you’ll shape Target Roundel campaigns and deliver eye-catching displays that spark impulse buys—making Hasbro unforgettable in the aisles and beyond.

Location: This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in the downtown Minneapolis, MN office.

A Day in the Life as a Manager, Customer Strategic Marketing

As a Marketing Strategist on the Hasbro Target team, every day brings opportunities to shape how fans experience our brands:

  • Be the Target shopper expert — turn data and insights into exclusive products, breakthrough programs, and seamless omnichannel promotions.
  • Bring stories to life by partnering with key licensors such as Disney, Paramount, Universal, Sony, etc. to launch collaborative campaigns around blockbuster events, seasonal moments, and product debuts.
  • Create what’s next — lead exclusive product development briefing from big ideas to financial strategy, delivering toys and games that excite Target shoppers and align with retail strategies.
  • Make it happen — manage trade activation budgets, track results, and turn KPIs into smarter, more impactful marketing.
  • Own the spotlight — deliver compelling presentations to Target, Hasbro global teams, and senior leadership that inspire confidence and action.
  • Shape the industry by helping drive Hasbro’s presence at key events like Target previews, Toy Fair, and major internal showcases.
  • Lead with influence — share insights, spot trends, and fuel collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Global Development teams.
  • Champion Hasbro values by encouraging bold ideas, driving change, and creating strategies that power long-term growth.

What You’ll Bring:

The base salary range for this position is $109,100.00 to $163,700.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
