Join our client’s team as a Managing Editor, where you’ll shape the editorial voice and oversee operations for an exciting new entertainment platform. This innovative website helps audiences navigate a wide variety of streaming content through engaging articles, news, and guides tailored for multiple markets and languages. You’ll also manage a companion site focused on kids and family programming, offering detailed information, insights, and recommendations to keep viewers informed and inspired.

Managing Editor Responsibilities:
- Lead the global editorial calendar, ensuring timely and engaging content delivery.
- Collaborate with copywriters, agencies, and freelance writers to produce high-quality articles and marketing assets.
- Work with global marketing teams to adapt and maintain editorial content across various platforms.
- Coordinate with the Content Strategy team to prioritize content and campaign coverage.
- Partner with Communications and PR teams for special event coverage and real-time updates.
- Enhance user experience by working closely with product and marketing designers on editorial graphics.
- Maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to uphold high editorial and visual standards.
- Manage global article syndication and editing workflows in collaboration with Project Managers.
- Optimize language guidelines and keyword strategies with the Lead Copywriter and SEO Manager.
- Oversee proofreading and editing across lead and marketing copywriters.
Managing Editor Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience managing global editorial web or social media properties.
- Proven track record in increasing engagement and achieving marketing goals.
- Strong background in digital publishing and editorial team management.
- Exceptional collaboration skills with a focus on empathetic communication.
- Expert-level writing, proofreading, and editing abilities.
- Proficient in enterprise SEO tools and collaboration with SEO specialists.
- Familiarity with global publishing style guides and multilingual content standards.
- Passionate about the entertainment industry with deep knowledge of their properties.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex projects and adapt to varying working styles.
