Manual QA Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to work on projects for several of our international clients. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience as Manual QA Engineer with Gaming experience to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Understand product functional requirements and work with cross-functional teams to identify software defects, create test plans, and execute test cases.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of our software applications.
• Use automated testing tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Document and report issues and bugs to the development team.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and to ensure the overall quality of the software.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools and methodologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Experience with Casino Gaming projects. Preference for Blackjack and Baccarat experience
• Experience testing data-driven software applications and good exposure to testing web-based applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with testing tools and automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber, Burp Suite, ZAP, Postman etc.
• Familiar with command prompt/terminal.
• Basic understanding of 5/7 layer OSI model.
• Intermediate level of MS Windows and Internet Browser knowledge.
• Deep understanding of technical/test plans writing.
• Nice to have: Automation skills/interest (help with testing automation).
• Able to work both independently on projects and tasks and as a member of a geographically dispersed team.
• Great attention to detail.
• Have solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have an organized and analytical working style, and the ability to plan your own work.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
