Mechanisms System Product Design Engineer

The Vision Product Group (VPG) is a team of passionate engineers who are designing, prototyping, analyzing, and launching the next generations of new products at Apple. As a mechanisms engineer, you will be given ownership over mechanism modules/subsystems within the product and will be responsible for the analysis, assembly, and reliability of these parts. In addition to product design, this effort will include the development and execution of validation plans, the design of custom test fixtures, and collaboration with outside suppliers. You will engage in frequent multi-disciplinary collaboration with teams like Electrical Engineering, Reliability, Testing, DFM, SW, Industrial Design, Project Management, Materials, Manufacturing, Ergonomics and more.
