Job Summary
Revenera is seeking a Member Technical Staff to design and develop high-quality software using test-driven development in an Agile environment. The role involves architecting scalable application infrastructure, investigating and resolving issues, implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for AWS deployments, and managing infrastructure migrations with zero downtime. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to leverage AI for productivity and integrate AI-driven features, as well as participating in code reviews and mentoring junior team members.
Must Have
- Design and develop high-quality software using test-driven development principles in an Agile environment.
- Architect and implement improvements to application infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
- Take ownership of issue investigation and resolution, driving solutions independently.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for AWS-based deployments.
- Manage infrastructure migrations with zero downtime, ensuring high availability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage AI internally to boost productivity and integrate AI-driven features.
- Participate in code and design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintainability.
- Mentor and train junior team members, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
- 6+ years of experience in Java, building multithreaded, high-performance, and scalable server applications.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.) and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of Windows/Linux administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Demonstrated problem-solving attitude and ability to deliver solutions without heavy reliance on others.
Good to Have
- Experience with AI/ML concepts or integrating AI-driven features into applications.
- Background in DevOps practices, including infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python) and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Coralogix, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Exposure to GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
