Job Description

As a Memory Characterization Intern at Cadence, you will join an R&D team focused on creating technologies for static and dynamic transistor-level analysis of advanced custom digital and mixed-signal circuits. Your work will involve enhancing existing tools' architecture for transistor-level modeling, timing analysis, and characterization of memory designs, as well as analyzing transistor-level effects at lower technology nodes. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with C++ development experience in Unix/Linux environments.
Must Have:
  • Enhancing and expanding the existing tools' architecture to cover transistor level modeling for timing analysis and characterization of memory designs.
  • Enhancements for analysis of transistor level effects dominant at lower technology nodes.
  • Currently pursuing BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
  • Industry experience developing and maintaining C++ based applications on a Unix or Linux environment.
  • Experience with quality and software processes.
  • Experience designing data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
