JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Gameplay Programmer, you will work in a small, close-knit team where your main responsibility will be to deliver the vast amount of content required for our most ambitious project; Vaultbreakers - a Hardcore Fantasy Extraction ARPG game.
Ideally, you are driven, self-motivated and not afraid to express your opinions or come up with suggestions for improvements. You must be ready to take responsibility and identify areas that could benefit from your talents. We want you to make your mark on our world and our team, and join a collaborative effort to raise the quality of the entire experience we deliver to the players.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work together with designers to provide memorable moments for our players through the games we make.
- Implement a big portion of the vast amount of in-mission content needed for a PvPvE title.
- Identify areas where we can improve to deliver high-quality content as quickly as possible while doing so in a sustainable way, so we can do so for many years to come.
- Contribute to shortening the iteration time between idea and feedback by e.g. identifying what can be reused and how we can make MVPs to evaluate the greater design.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of industry experience.
- Excellent software design, problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Game design experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Unity3D.
- Strong, established skills with C#.
- Passion and drive to improve all facets of the game and unlock the potential within the team.
- Able to communicate & collaborate effectively with artists, designers, and other engineers.
- Veteran MOBA and MMORPG player (500+ hours).
PLUSES:
- Experience with the ECS architectural pattern.
- Experience with cross-platform titles (PC and console).
- Experience making gameplay for high pace multiplayer games.
- Experience with the MVVM pattern.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with all development cycles of games.
- Experience using LLMs to increase productivity.
