HandyGames™ is seeking a Mobile Rendering Engineer (f/m/d) for their Giebelstadt, Germany headquarters. This on-site role involves optimizing PC and console games for mobile platforms, working with Unity, Unreal Engine, and custom engines. Key tasks include shader and texture optimization, technical feasibility evaluation, and tool enhancement. The ideal candidate has experience with game engines, graphics APIs like Vulkan/Metal/OpenGL, shader programming, and debugging tools. They should be self-motivated, responsible, and proficient in English.

Must Have:- Analyze and optimize PC and console games for mobile platforms
- Optimize shaders, textures, render passes, and rendering features
- Evaluate potential projects for technical feasibility
- Create and enhance tools for benchmarking, analysis, and optimization
- Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine and/or other game engines
- Familiarity with graphics APIs like Vulkan, Metal, or OpenGL
- Technical know-how in shader programming (HLSL/GLSL or similar)
- Knowledge of low-level details of a (hardware) platform
- Proficiency with debugging/profiling tools like RenderDoc, Unity Profiler, Unreal Insights, Snapdragon Profiler, or Arm Mobile Studio
- Ability to familiarize quickly and well with new projects and situations
- Strong self-motivation and sense of responsibility
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
