The Modality Sales Manager, Digital X-Ray ASEAN, will be a product portfolio expert supporting Account Managers in driving business and product deal support. Responsibilities include defining and controlling business policy, pricing strategy, and product sales; informing and recommending customers on the latest technological innovations; assisting with customer presentations; supporting sales targets; preparing business forecasts; and monitoring industry changes. This role requires strong customer focus, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build relationships.

Modality Sales Manager, Digital X-Ray ASEAN

Modality Sales Specialist is the knowledge product portfolio expert who supports Account Managers (AMs) in driving overall business and product deal support by providing clinical and technical product (modality) expertise on the product / modality across the accounts.

Your Role

  • Participate in defining and controlling of the implementation of the business policy, pricing strategy and product/modality to be sold by the BU in the region, according to established guidelines
  • Working together with AMs, you will inform and recommend customers the latest technological innovations developed and its associated configurations, including the possible upgrades of the installed base, attending the complaints and inquiries made, in order to obtain a higher level of customer satisfaction and contribute to achieve the sales targets.
  • Assist AMs with customer presentations specifically focused on the clinical and technical components of the value proposition. Understand and address competitive positioning and marketing strategy of respective product /modality, and support where needed in identification of the tender strategy and quotation.
  • Support the Account managers and District Managers in achievement of business goals including balanced selling and Business Unit’s AOP attainment and validating product forecasts.
  • Partner with Marketing to with input on sales tools, pricing issues and competitive threats which enable Marketing to best support the Specialists and provide input to the Business Unit.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate business forecasting on a monthly via accurate lead and opportunity management.
  • Monitor competition and changes in the industry, and provide effective feedback to the sales and marketing organizations that include suggestions for expanding product offerings.
  • Drive continuous improvements via Lean.

You're likely the right fit for this job if you possess

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Marketing/Business Management.
  • 5-8 years of experience in the selling/ marketing of medical equipment/devices. Background in Digital X-Ray modality is preferred.
  • Experience in working in complex organizations in marketing or commercial function in a large Multinational Company.
  • Customer focus, consultative solution selling and good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships within matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers, cross business, and cross function.
  • Be the Point of contact and "go to" resource for modality sales specialist and clinical application teams.
  • Ability to build capabilities, process design, ownership, and implementation.
  • Can-do attitude, creative mindset, searching for solution, strong drive and focus on results, belief that we can win, ability to move or get around barriers to success.
  • Seasoned professional in Lean methodology.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
