Job Description

The Firmware Engineer will be responsible for developing embedded software in C for microcontrollers. This includes documenting requirements, designing and reviewing documents, and creating verification procedures. The engineer will write clean, maintainable code, and develop or modify unit tests. Additionally, they will interpret hardware schematics and use standard IDEs for debugging. The role requires experience with Free RTOS, BLE & WiFi. They must possess technical leadership skills with a detail-oriented and continuous improvement mindset. This role requires fluency in English. The role will involve working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Must have:
  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
  • Experience with Free RTOS, BLE & WiFi.
  • Interpret hardware schematics for microcontroller configuration.
  • Experience with standard IDE and debugging techniques.
  • Experience in Basic Hardware debugging.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, function generators, and debuggers.
  • Fluency in English.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of any scripting language.
  • Knowledge of IEC 62304 is preferred.

Your role:

·       Developing embedded software in C programming language for microcontrollers.

·       Documenting, managing, and helping to define requirements, design documents, design reviews, and verification procedures.

·       Writing concise, readable, and easily maintainable code adhering to coding guidelines.

·       Developing or modifying unit test software to verify embedded software.


You're the right fit if you have :

·     Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

·     5+ years of experience in embedded software development in a professional organization. 

  • Experience with Free RTOS, BLE & WiFi

·     Be able to interpret hardware schematics to configure software for microcontroller.

·     Experience in working on different standard IDE and debugging techniques.

·     Experience in Basic Hardware debugging.

·     Experience with tools such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and debuggers.

·     Knowledge of any scripting language would be addon advantage.

·     Knowledge of IEC 62304 is preferred.

·     Technical leadership skills, detail-oriented and continuous improvement mindset.

·     Fluency in English.



How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
