Job Description

This role involves leading the Health System’s sales strategy for Key Customers in Mexico City. The Key Account Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of 6 strategic accounts, building strong relationships with stakeholders across medical, financial, biomedical, and executive levels. Responsibilities include developing tailored account strategies, leading complex sales cycles, and positioning Philips’ full solution portfolio to drive innovation and demonstrate added value. The role focuses on consultative selling, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

Your role:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of 6 strategic accounts, ensuring strong relationships with key stakeholders (medical, financial, biomedical, and executive levels) while identifying opportunities to expand our footprint.
  • Develop and execute tailored account strategies that balance retention of well-established clients and penetration of underdeveloped accounts through value-based, consultative selling.
  • Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers, coordinating with internal teams (Solutions, Finance, Operations among others) to craft customized proposals and business cases.
  • Drive strategic discussions beyond price, positioning our full solution portfolio to demonstrate added value, efficiency, and differentiation from competitors.
  • Provide ongoing business insights and pipeline visibility, monitoring account performance, market trends, and customer satisfaction to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of proven experience managing strategic and complex accounts, driving growth and long-term partnerships across multiple stakeholders, positioning differentiated solutions and translating customer needs into integrated, high-impact proposals.
  • Your skills include strong business and customer value mindset, ability to develop and execute account strategies - maintaining relationships and establishing new ones -, excellent communication, negotiation, and influence skills, with the capacity to engage effectively from operational contacts to C-level executives.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineer or correlated technical background in HealthTech or high-complexity solution sales. Intermediate English (conversational and written) is a must.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field role.

Work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Mexico City.
