ADTRAN is seeking a highly motivated Network Management Specialist to join their team in Munich, Germany. The role involves providing expert knowledge of Network Management Systems and SDN to pre-sales teams, handling tender responses, customer presentations, and training. The specialist will also provide market trend feedback to Business Development and Product Line Management. This position requires a strong background in network management and excellent communication skills.
Must have:
  • Providing expert knowledge of Network Management Systems and SDN to regional pre-sales teams
  • Tender responses
  • Customer presentations
  • Training regional pre-sales personnel on products, solutions and tools
  • Feedback on market trends to Business Development and Product Line Management teams
  • Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science or physics
  • At least 10 years working experience in network providers, data centers, system integrators or telco / router equipment manufacturers
  • Advanced knowledge of Management systems for transport networks and Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM)
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines with short response times
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to take fast, autonomous decisions and work on own initiative
  • Excellent team worker
  • Flexibility to travel worldwide
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
