New Graduate Hiring: Fire-fighting and exhaust engineer

NXP is seeking a Fire-fighting and Exhaust Engineer to plan, design, construct, maintain, and improve fire protection and exhaust systems in Kaohsiung. The role involves engaging with local fire brigades and the EPA for audits and reporting, controlling annual Opex and long-term Capex, and supporting shopfloor changes. The engineer will also train and co-work with SAE for daily system operations. Candidates should have a BS or MS in safety, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering and at least one year of relevant experience, with required English proficiency for international calls.

Must Have

• BS or MS on safety, chemical, mechanical or environment protection engineering
• 1+ year experience in managing fire protection system or air pollution disposal system or engineering
• Ability to attend monthly international calls in English

Good to Have

• Certificate of fire protection or air pollution system

Job Description

• Plan, design, construct, maintain and improve ATKH fire protection and exhaust system.
• Engage local fire brigade for audit or regular reporting.
• Engage EPA for exhaust system regular audit and reporting.
• Control annual Opex and long term Capex.
• Support shopfloor for change in fire protection or exhaust system.
• Train and Co-work with SAE for daily system operation or PM.
• Other manager’s instruction for supporting facility operation.

Requirements

• BS or MS on safety, chemical, mechanical or environment protection engineering.
• 1 yrs experience in managing fire protection system or air pollution dispose of system or engineering.
• Need to attend monthly international call in English.
• Certificate of fire protection or air pollution system is a plus
