NPI Product Engineer Intern - Summer 2026

This NPI Product Engineer Intern role involves statistical data analysis, inter-disciplinary problem solving, and yield analysis. The intern will participate in core cross-functional team discussions, NPI and process improvement activities with Design, TE, and Manufacturing, and configuration and requirement management. Candidates should have basic IC fabrication and electronic circuit understanding, strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills, and be self-motivated.

Must Have

Job Qualifications:

• Basic IC fabrication and electronic circuit understanding
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong data analysis background
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Task management skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability to be in-person for entire internship (40hrs/wk)
• Working towards a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering, working towards Masters (preferred)
• To be considered for an internship with NXP, you must be returning to school at the end of the internship term.
