This position requires deep technical expertise in RF/mmWave testing, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of automotive quality frameworks such as AEC-Q100, ISO 26262, and IATF 16949.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of test engineers in the development and deployment of test solutions for radar ICs, including wafer-level and final test.
Define test strategies for new radar products, ensuring coverage of RF, analog, digital, and mixed-signal domains.
Oversee the development of ATE test programs and hardware (load boards, probe cards) for mmWave radar ICs.
Ensure compliance with automotive standards and customer-specific radar performance requirements.
Collaborate with design, DFT, product, and reliability engineering teams to define test coverage and validation plans.
Drive yield improvement, test time optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
Manage demand for test infrastructure including CAPEX proposals.
Support root cause analysis for test escapes, field returns, and yield anomalies.
Interface with remote internal test sites and OSATs for production ramp-up and volume support.
Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong experience in RF/mmWave testing, preferably in automotive radar applications (e.g., 77 GHz).
Proficiency with ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne) and RF test instrumentation.
Familiarity with automotive standards (AEC-Q100, ISO 26262, IATF 16949).
Sound understanding of semiconductor development and manufacturing processes.
Strong programming skills in C/C++, or Java.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
