Oracle ERP Manual Tester

We are seeking a skilled Manual Testing QA Resource to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, test planning, and execution. A secondary but valuable skill set includes experience with Oracle ERP R12 Testing—particularly in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Finance modules. Responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, defect reporting, collaborating with teams, and ensuring QA compliance.

Must Have

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
• Perform defect reporting, tracking, and validation.
• Collaborate with teams to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Execute test cycles, document results, and support UAT.
• Ensure compliance with established QA processes and standards.
• Identify risks, escalate issues, and provide proactive solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Proficiency in writing and executing detailed test cases.
• Experience in defect management tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP R12 Testing in AR, AP, and Finance modules.
• Knowledge of ERP workflows, functional business processes, and financial system testing.
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for functional, regression, and system testing.
• Perform defect reporting, tracking, and validation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to clarify requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Execute test cycles, document test results, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure compliance with established QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Identify risks, escalate issues, and provide proactive solutions to mitigate testing challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3–6 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Proficiency in writing detailed test cases and executing them effectively.
• Experience in defect management tools (e.g., JIRA,).
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
