Job Summary
We are looking for a packaging engineer (M/F) to develop and optimize packaging solutions, design innovative and eco-friendly packaging, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage validation plans. The role involves interacting with R&D, quality, production, and suppliers, and optimizing costs. Candidates should have expertise in packaging design and validation, knowledge of materials and industrial processes, sensitivity to eco-design, strong analytical skills, and confirmed experience in industrial packaging development.
Must Have
- Develop and optimize packaging solutions (downstream & upstream).
- Design innovative, premium, and environmentally friendly packaging (eco-design).
- Ensure regulatory and technical compliance of packaging.
- Elaborate and monitor validation plans (performance tests, qualification).
- Perform and exploit validation tests (mechanical, climatic, logistical).
- Ensure certification and compliance with applicable standards (e.g., EMC, safety).
- Interact with R&D, quality, production, and supplier teams for industrial implementation.
- Monitor packaging-related costs and continuous optimization.
- Expertise in packaging design and validation.
- Knowledge of materials, industrial processes, and logistical constraints.
- Sensitivity to eco-design and environmental issues.
- Analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
- Ease in working in cross-functional project mode.
- Engineer training (packaging, mechanical, materials or equivalent).
- Confirmed experience in industrial packaging development.
- Good command of design and testing tools.
