We are looking for a Project Consultant – Industrial Capacities to support management in the analysis, simulation, and definition of a robust and competitive capacity strategy. The role involves finalizing site capacity analysis, identifying resource and skill deficits, re-evaluating the Make-or-Buy policy, developing dynamic simulation tools, consolidating data for project steering, supporting strategic reflection, and highlighting performance gains.

Must Have

• Consolidate and complete the diagnosis based on load plans.
• Perform simulations to identify gaps between needs and current/future capacities.
• Highlight capacity shortages against the industrial strategy.
• Propose correction or optimization scenarios.
• Evaluate the relevance of the internalized vs. externalized scope.
• Identify subcontracting, partnership, or internalization opportunities.
• Design models to simulate industrial flows.
• Test different organizational and ramp-up scenarios.
• Gather and structure all useful input data for ongoing work.
• Harmonize sources, validate assumptions, and make analyses exploitable.
• Provide a transversal view on the site's positioning in the value chain.
• Propose organizational and industrial improvement levers.
• Quantify expected impacts and benefits.
• Demonstrate the competitiveness gains linked to the recommendations.
• Confirmed experience in industrial project management, capacity planning, methods, supply chain, or industrial organization.
• Comfortable with data analysis, modeling, flow simulations.
• Ability to provide a strategic perspective while being operational.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills to management.

Missions

Reporting to the site management, you will be at the heart of the industrial strategy and will be responsible for:

• Consolidate and complete the diagnosis already initiated based on load plans.
• Perform simulations to precisely identify gaps between needs and current/future capacities.

2️⃣ Identifying resource and skill deficits

• Highlight capacity shortages in relation to the industrial strategy.
• Propose correction or optimization scenarios.

3️⃣ Re-evaluating the Make-or-Buy policy

• Evaluate the relevance of the internalized vs. externalized scope.
• Identify opportunities for subcontracting, partnership, or internalization according to competitiveness, quality, and lead time challenges.

4️⃣ Developing dynamic simulation tools

• Design models to simulate industrial flows.
• Test different organizational and ramp-up scenarios.

5️⃣ Consolidating data to steer the project

• Gather and structure all useful input data for ongoing work.
• Harmonize sources, validate assumptions, and make analyses exploitable.
