This is a front-line sales role reporting to the channel sales director, responsible for supporting key sales functions and growth goals for a geographical region including ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, PA, NJ, NY. Responsibilities include working with assigned partners to generate prospective customers through campaigns and promotions, acquiring new partners, providing marketing and sales literature, assisting with sales quoting and special pricing, responding to partner requests, ensuring proper alignment with field and inside sales for partner end-user opportunities, tracking partner pipelines, and handling partner inquiries and service issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have sales experience in the software industry and channel experience with a distributor or vendor, proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tracking tools, and ideally experience with Salesforce. Strong abilities in qualifying potential customers, closing deals, making telephone presentations, listening, motivating, and creating sales opportunities are essential. The role requires comfort in selling over the phone, accurate forecasting, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Travel may be up to 30%.
