Job Description

MY.GAMES is a leading European game developer and publisher with over 1 billion registered players. They are looking for a Payments Manager to oversee daily payment operations across all platforms, monitor payment flows, success rates, refunds, and chargebacks. The role involves managing relationships with PSPs, acquiring banks, and gateways, negotiating fees and contracts, and onboarding new payment providers. The manager will also be responsible for building and evolving the payment strategy to boost conversion and reduce costs, optimizing routing, and analyzing payment data for trends and growth opportunities. Collaboration with risk, fraud, product, engineering, support, and finance teams is essential to improve payment UX, resolve complex cases, and keep stakeholders informed. The position requires a deep understanding of payment systems, methods, trends, and hands-on experience with PSPs, acquirers, gateways, and payment APIs, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
Must have:

What you’ll do:
  • Oversee daily payment operations across all platforms
  • Monitor payment flows, success rates, refunds, and chargebacks — and act fast when something’s off
  • Manage relationships with PSPs, acquiring banks, and gateways
  • Negotiate fees, contracts, and SLAs to get the best value
  • Onboard and integrate new payment providers when needed
  • Build and evolve our payment strategy to boost conversion and reduce costs
  • Optimize routing and A/B test provider performance
  • Analyze payment data to spot trends, flag issues, and uncover growth opportunities
  • Partner with risk and fraud teams to keep chargebacks and abuse in check
  • Report regularly on key payment KPIs
  • Forecast and track payment costs and revenue impact
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve payment UX and features
  • Coordinate with support and finance to resolve complex payment cases
  • Keep stakeholders in the loop — always on time, always clear
What you need to succeed:
  • Deep understanding of payment systems, methods, and trends
  • Hands-on experience with PSPs, acquirers, gateways, and payment APIs
  • Strong grasp of compliance and fraud standards (PCI DSS, PSD2, AML/KYC, GDPR)
  • Analytical mindset — you know your way around KPIs, costs, and data-driven insights
  • Great communicator and negotiator — you build trust and drive results with partners
  • Strategic thinker who sees how payments impact revenue, UX, and user behavior
  • Comfortable working across teams and time zones — collaborative and solution-focused
