Job Description

The Game Designer will be responsible for developing game features, conducting A/B tests, and analyzing data to improve the game. This includes writing Game Design Documents (GDDs), working on game balance, and studying the audience to make data-driven decisions. The role requires a strong understanding of in-game economics and a passion for creating engaging mobile games. The candidate will work in a team environment to deliver awesome experiences.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop game features, from writing GDDs and presenting to the team to evaluating goal achievement in analytics reports
  • Conduct A\B tests and playtests
  • Work out the balance in “boring” spreadsheets, and use the flight of fancy in interesting game design documents
  • Study the audience, form hypotheses and queries for analytics, analyze statistics and reports, and make suggestions for project improvement based on them
What you need to succeed:
  • Experience working on mid-core mobile games for 3 years or more in a game designer position
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics, understanding of in-game economics, balance calculations, and probability theory
  • Ability to identify the key elements of a feature that are necessary for it to function and cut out the unnecessary details
  • Extensive and varied gaming experience, willingness to work on a Tacticool project
  • Responsibility, communication skills, ability to work in a team
Nice to have:
  • Experience in interface development together with UX\UI designers
