Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Unreal Engine Artist to join our VFX team, responsible for creating real-time cinematic visuals & environment using Unreal Engine. You will collaborate with artists, CG & VFX supervisors, and pipeline developers to deliver high-quality, photorealistic content for feature films, commercials & episodics.
Key Responsibilities:
Create real-time environments, lighting setups, VFX, and cinematic sequences in Unreal Engine.
Optimize assets and scenes for performance without compromising visual quality.
Integrate assets from Maya, Houdini, or other DCC tools into Unreal.
Set up and manage shaders, materials, and lighting to achieve the desired visual style.
Work closely with the VFX, layout, animation, and compositing teams to ensure seamless integration.
Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time rendering and contribute to tool and pipeline development.
Collaborate on previs and virtual production workflows including camera setups and real-time rendering.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine in a VFX environment.
Portfolio demonstrating artistic abilities in color selection, materials, and lighting.
Strong understanding of real-time rendering, lighting, PBR materials, and post-processing.
Proficiency in using Blueprints, Sequencer, Niagara (for FX), and World Building tools.
Experience with asset import/export workflows from Maya, Houdini, Blender, etc.
Ability to optimize scenes for performance while maintaining visual fidelity.
Understanding of virtual cameras, lens settings, and cinematic storytelling.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
