Job Summary

Job Description

VFX Artist needed for creating effects for in-game and cutscenes. Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, or Softimage is preferred, but new graduates or those new to the industry are encouraged to apply and highlight other relevant skills. Responsibilities include creating high-quality visual effects, collaborating with the team, and meeting deadlines. Experience with physically based rendering, Houdini, and fluid dynamics simulation is highly desirable. Applicants should submit a resume, CV detailing program experience, game involvement, and a portfolio showcasing their best work. The position is full-time in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, with a discretionary labor system and benefits including various insurance, transportation expenses, and telework availability.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience with creating effects using Maya, 3ds Max, Softimage, etc.

Highly Desirable Experience (not mandatory)

  • Well-versed in various effect tools and After Effects production
  • Experience creating effects in Physically Based Rendering environments
  • Experience creating effects using Houdini
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with fluid dynamics simulation
