Job Summary
Join Playson in Bratislava as a People Ops Specialist, a pivotal role in our People & Culture team. You will be the heartbeat of our Bratislava Hub, ensuring a smooth, human-focused employee experience. This role involves critical support for relocation, preboarding, HR operations, and vendor coordination. We seek a proactive, detail-oriented individual to empower our team members from day one, working closely with cross-functional groups to foster a supportive and informed environment within our growing company.
Must Have
- Provide essential support to Ukrainian employees relocated to Bratislava.
- Manage office activities and operations to ensure smooth running.
- Facilitate employment and relocation matters.
- Maintain diaries and prepare documents for submission to authorities.
- Manage employee records and curate payments for medical insurance, courses, etc.
- Organize and manage internal/external meetings and events.
- Work closely with Bratislava Hub representatives, Finance-legal team, and People Business Partners.
- Assist People Business Partners with HRM automation using HiBob.
- Execute people strategies and drive overall engagement within the hub.
- Support employee development and well-being.
- Hands-on experience in HR (operations, admin, or junior HRBP) or as a personal assistant/referent.
- Organized, systematic thinker, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage time and keep many small processes running smoothly.
- Takes ownership, works independently, and stays focused on the result.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, internal systems, shared docs, and Slack.
- Ability to write clearly, communicate openly, and build trust with others.
- Good English (Upper-Intermediate+) is a must.

Join us as a People Ops Specialist and help shape a smooth, human-focused employee experience.
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Specialist to join the People & Culture team at Playson. This role will be based in our Bratislava Hub and work closely with the Bratislava Hub Team -- a cross-functional group that supports Playson employees and partner studios at the local level.
You’ll play a key role in relocation, preboarding, HR operations, and vendor coordination, ensuring our team members feel supported, informed, and empowered from day one.
What You'll Do:
- Employee Support: Provide essential support to our Ukrainian employees relocated to Bratislava.
- Office Coordination: Manage office activities and operations to ensure smooth running.
- Relocation Assistance: Facilitate employment and relocation matters.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain diaries, prepare documents for submission to authorities, manage employee records, manage curating payments for medical insurance, courses, etc., create comprehensive guidelines.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and manage internal/external meetings and events on various topics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams such as Bratislava Hub representatives, Finance-legal team for paperwork and on-time payroll, People Business Partners
- HR Automation: Assist People Business Partners with HRM automation on possible flows using HiBob.
- Engagement: Execute people strategies and drive overall engagement within the hub. Support employee development and well-being.
Who You Are:
- You’re someone who’s already had some hands-on experience in HR -- maybe in operations, admin, or as a junior HRBP -- or you’ve worked as a personal assistant or referent in a structured environment and now want to grow in people operations.
- You’re organized by nature, think in systems, and you don’t miss details. You get things done without being chased, know how to manage your time, and can keep many small processes running smoothly in parallel. At the same time, you’re not afraid to ask for help or escalate if something feels off.
- You genuinely care about doing things right -- whether it's someone’s relocation, getting a contract signed, or updating a policy. You’re the kind of person who takes ownership, works independently, and stays focused on the result.
- You’re also comfortable working with tools like spreadsheets, internal systems, shared docs, and Slack. You can write clearly, communicate openly, and build trust with others.
- Good English is a must (Upper-Intermediate+), and if you also speak Slovak -- even better!
