Job Description
This role involves designing and executing performance tests to ensure the scalability and reliability of SaaS products. Responsibilities include designing and executing performance and load tests to validate system scalability, stability, and reliability, identifying and analyzing performance bottlenecks, and providing actionable recommendations. The role also involves developing and maintaining testing frameworks, scripts, and tools, collaborating with engineering teams, and monitoring system performance in production. Guidance on performance optimization and sharing best practices through documentation, training, and discussions are also part of the role.
Must have:

This role will involve designing and executing performance tests, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our SaaS products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance and load tests to validate system scalability, stability, and reliability.
- Identify, analyze, and report performance bottlenecks, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain testing frameworks, scripts, and tools to support performance testing efforts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system architecture and guide performance testing strategies.
- Monitor system performance in production and support root cause analysis for performance-related issues.
- Provide guidance on performance optimization and share best practices through documentation, training, and discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering, ideally within SaaS environments.
- Proficiency in tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or similar.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Solid programming skills in Java, Python, or related languages, with experience in databases like PostgreSQL.Familiarity with analyzing performance metrics using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
Preferred
- Experience in Agile methodologies and working with global, distributed teams.
- Expertise in testing large-scale systems and handling high volumes of data.
- Knowledge of React and JSON for test data preparation and API performance testing.
