Job Description

Join Pentair as a Pool Technical Support Specialist in Phoenix, AZ. You will handle inbound calls, specializing in product lines to help customers and dealers troubleshoot pool and spa equipment. This role requires prior experience with pool and spa equipment, strong technical and customer service skills, and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. You will maintain current product knowledge and work independently or with a team to provide timely support.

You will be working with inbound calls, specializing in certain product lines to help customers and dealers troubleshoot their products using your technical and customer service skills.

More details about the opportunity:

  • Although this is a business-to-business technical support position, you must have prior experience working on pool and spa equipment and be able to understand how our equipment works to help troubleshoot and diagnose issues with our business customers.
  • You will be responsible for researching, troubleshooting, and resolving pool and spa equipment issues using advanced troubleshooting skills and available resources.
  • Provide quality telephone and email support, with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all product offerings and technical support procedures to provide accurate solutions to customers and demonstrate experience in problem resolution and technical problem identification.
  • Work independently and with team to solve support issues and escalate issues to fourth level support and supervisor when necessary.
  • Resolves customer problems, disputes, and complaints in an efficient, professional manner and according to company policy.
  • Experience in technical product support (hands on, phone support, or other experience) is required.
  • Previous Pool technical experience related to troubleshooting/diagnostics/repair of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems is required.
  • Being Bilingual is a preferred requirement for this position.

Position Hours/Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, working hours are 8am to 8pm EST. Shift will be discussed with job offer.
  • Initial training is from 8am to 5pm the first few weeks

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $23 to 26/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
