Job Description

The Post-Trade Client Services & Risk Analyst supports new client and platform onboarding, engages customers on new initiatives, builds and maintains relationships, and provides daily support. They handle and escalate operational and customer issues, support trade and end-of-day workflows, contribute to projects, and document enhancement requests for operational processes.
Must Have:
  • Mastery of CME Clearing infrastructure
  • Ability to solve problems across all asset classes/initiatives and operational processes
  • Handle account set-ups and trade submission workflows
  • Effectively and efficiently solve client and operational issues
  • Support CME Group's effort to develop innovative enhancements
  • Provide excellent customer service across all asset classes and initiatives
  • Develop strong relationships with customers
  • Provide clear/professional responses to client queries
  • Assist with customer calls and/or in-person visits
  • Provide day to day support of customer questions
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated individual
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills

The incumbent will successfully handle, escalate operational & customer-related issues while demonstrating strong communication skills. They support operational trade and end-of-day workflows, contribute to internal projects, & document enhancement requests related to current operational processes.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate mastery of CME Clearing infrastructure and ability to solve problems across all asset classes/initiatives and most internal operational processes, particularly account set-ups and trade submission workflows
  • Effectively and efficiently solve client and operational issues, with assistance as necessary
  • Support CME Group's effort to develop innovative enhancements that improve our team and our customers' experience, including documenting firm enhancement requests, suggesting ideas to improve the customer experience and improve internal processes and generate a plan to implement the enhancement or idea
  • Provide excellent customer service across all asset classes and initiatives
  • Develop strong relationships with customers by providing clear/professional responses to client queries, assisting with customer calls and/or in-person visits, developing strong relationships with customers, providing day to day support of customer questions

Skills and Software Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated individual
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
