We are seeking a dynamic and experienced "Power System Design Electrical Engineer" to lead multiple project teams and oversee the entire process of product design and development. In this role, you will ensure that all designs and project activities adhere to the highest technology and development standards. Your advanced subject matter expertise will be crucial in providing valuable insights to cross-organizational projects, driving innovation, and integrating cutting-edge technologies into our initiatives.”
Must have:
  • Leads multiple project teams of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of electrical hardware design and development for complex products, solutions, and platforms
  • Conducts part qualification processes through implementation of product quality plans, equipment inspections, factory witness testing, and manufacturing process qualifications.
  • Expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
  • Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for optimizing product product/solution output, quality enhancements and cost of delivery.
  • Provides domain-specific expertise and overall electrical/electronic hardware and platform leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
  • Develops cost estimates, business cases, appropriation requests and plans for electrical/hardware engineering projects.
  • Leads delivery professionally written reports and supports realization of operational and strategic plans.
  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the electrical hardware design organization.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of electrical hardware design and development, innovation, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

**Education & Experience Recommended**

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in electrical power design and tools, software packages, architecture of electronic hardware, or a related field.
