Pre Silicon validation/emulation engineer

Broadcom is seeking a Pre-Silicon validation/emulation engineer responsible for developing test plans, creating test scenarios, and validating IPs/SoCs on emulation platforms such as Zebu or Palladium. The role requires strong C programming and scripting skills, along with knowledge of various protocols and SoC architectures.

Must Have

• Knowledge of one or more protocols: PCIe, LPDDR, SPI, USB, AXI
• Knowledge of ARM and/or x86 SoC Architecture
• Strong experience in C programming language and Assembly Language
• Strong experience in one or more scripting languages – Perl/Python/TCL
• Excellent debugging and problem solving capabilities
• Debugger interface knowledge (Coresight/UltraSoC, Lauterbach, JTAG)
• Experience on any emulation platforms (Palladium, Zebu or equivalent)

Good to Have

• Experience on Zebu compilation/build flows
