Job Summary
This opportunity is for an Application Engineer (AE) in Custom IC Layout area at Cadence. He/She will work closely with the sales team in supporting sales campaigns by delivering workshops, benchmarks, product demonstrations, methodology consultations and product support. He/She will also work closely with R&D to provide solution and become a key bridge between R&D and customers.
Must Have
- Familiar with backend Custom IC Layout flows and concept
- Ability to do SKILL programming
- Experience in using Linux operating system (e.g. RHEL, etc.)
- Fluent in both written and conversational Mandarin and English
Good to Have
- Familiar with Reticle design and manufacture flow
- Knowledge on usage of DRC/LVS tools such as Pegasus
- Knowledge on parasitic extraction flow using Quantus

Years of experience: 7 to 12 years in analog/mixed-signal circuit layout, interested in CAD tools and design flow setup
Mandatory technical skill requirements:
- Familiar with backend Custom IC Layout flows and concept
- Ability to do SKILL programming

Optional technical skill requirements:
- Familiar with Reticle design and manufacture flow
- Knowledge on usage of DRC/LVS tools such as Pegasus
