Job Description

As Principal, Agentic AI, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of AI-driven autonomous shopping experiences at PayPal. This role involves spearheading initiatives leveraging intelligent digital agents to anticipate, negotiate, and execute commerce transactions for users. You will collaborate with AI, data science, and engineering teams to build predictive and personalized AI shopping assistants, driving the adoption of LLMs and machine learning. Key responsibilities include defining Agentic Commerce strategy, fostering partnerships, and enhancing customer experience through hyper-personalized solutions, ensuring data privacy and ethical AI considerations are embedded throughout product development.

  • Business Growth & Partnerships
  • Build and manage partnerships with AI vendors, fintech platforms, and commerce technology providers.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities in automated and agentic commerce.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to enhance customer adoption of AI-driven shopping experiences.
  • Customer Experience & Personalization
  • Lead efforts to create hyper-personalized, AI-driven shopping experiences that anticipate and fulfill customer needs.
  • Leverage real-time data, behavioral analytics, and AI decision-making to improve conversion rates.
  • Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring seamless, frictionless transactions across digital platforms.

Qualifications

Required

  • 11+ years of experience in e-commerce, AI, digital strategy, or related fields.
  • Deep understanding of agentic AI, LLMs, and intelligent commerce systems.
  • Proven track record of leading AI-driven digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with AI/ML models, personalization engines, and automation tools.
  • Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and executive stakeholder management skills.

Preferred
