Principal Platform Release Management

The Release and Adoption team ensures smooth, secure, and efficient delivery of platform releases across the organization, working at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Delivery. This role, as an Azure Specialist in Platform Release Management, is responsible for defining and maintaining Azure tenant standards, managing versioning strategies, and ensuring compliance with enterprise governance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, performant, and adoptable platform releases.

Must Have

• Define and maintain Azure tenant configuration standards across environments.
• Coordinate release planning and execution with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
• Manage exception handling and governance for non-standard platform requests.
• Drive standardization of Azure assets and versioning strategies.
• Conduct platform state and gap analysis for internal and client environments.
• Support PreSales and adoption programs with early access to new capabilities.
• Develop documentation and training materials for platform release processes.
• Proven experience in Azure platform management, including tenant configuration and governance.
• Strong understanding of release management processes and ITSM frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud migration strategies, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, SDL methodology).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
