Job Description

Join SimCorp's Release and Adoption team as an Azure Specialist in Platform Release Management. This strategic role involves defining and maintaining Azure tenant standards, managing versioning strategies, and ensuring compliance. You will coordinate release planning, drive standardization of Azure assets, conduct platform analysis, and support adoption programs. The team focuses on smooth, secure, and efficient delivery of platform releases, driving modernization and adoption of cloud-native solutions, and enabling faster innovation through Azure-based environments.
Must Have:
  • Define and maintain Azure tenant configuration standards.
  • Coordinate release planning and execution.
  • Manage exception handling and governance for non-standard platform requests.
  • Drive standardization of Azure assets and versioning strategies.
  • Conduct platform state and gap analysis.
  • Support PreSales and adoption programs.
  • Develop documentation and training materials for platform release processes.
  • Proven experience in Azure platform management.
  • Strong understanding of release management processes and ITSM frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration strategies, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

As an Azure Specialist in Platform Release Management, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining Azure tenant standards, managing versioning strategies, and ensuring compliance with enterprise governance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver platform releases that meet security, performance, and adoption goals. You will:

  • Be part of a strategic team shaping enterprise-wide Azure adoption.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with exposure to product and engineering leadership.
  • Influence platform modernization initiatives and drive innovation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Define and maintain Azure tenant configuration standards across environments.
  • Coordinate release planning and execution with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
  • Manage exception handling and governance for non-standard platform requests.
  • Drive standardization of Azure assets and versioning strategies.
  • Conduct platform state and gap analysis for internal and client environments.
  • Support PreSales and adoption programs with early access to new capabilities.
  • Develop documentation and training materials for platform release processes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience in Azure platform management, including tenant configuration and governance.
  • Strong understanding of release management processes and ITSM frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration strategies, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, SDL methodology).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
