Within the Tactical Vehicles and Systems activity, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site specializes in the production of land and airborne weapon systems (mortars, ammunition, rockets…), force protection systems, and zone control. With its 450 employees, engineers, technicians, and specialized workers, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site ensures research and development, production, testing, as well as all the "support" functions necessary for the design of high-performance systems essential to the success of operational missions. Thales has formed, with the German defense group DIEHL, a Joint-Venture "JUNGHANS T2M" which has 165 employees, allowing the two companies to combine their skills in electronics and precision mechanics and thus become one of the world leaders in the field of ammunition fuses. This Joint-Venture is also present on the La Ferté Saint Aubin site.
We offer you the opportunity to join the teams of the Technical Department of the La Ferté Saint Aubin site. The objective is to work on the industrial transfer between a pilot unit, a semi-industrial workshop, and an industrial manufacturing unit.
This subject is part of a current project and must define the major stages of scaling up.
Your main missions will be:
Are you pursuing a Bac+5 degree specializing in process engineering and looking for a 6-month internship?
Do you have the ambition to leverage your academic knowledge in an industrial/Defense environment and develop your skills?
Do you have skills in:
Are curiosity, autonomy, and interpersonal skills recognized assets in you?
You will evolve within a multidisciplinary team and will have the opportunity to discover a process industry as well as implementation processes (loading, machining, etc.).
