As a Procurement Project Manager, you will be responsible for MR E2E Business Procurement Program & project activities, collaborating in global MR cross-functional teams. You will participate in global project teams, driving procurement activities related to New Product Introductions (NPI), Lifecycle management, and service domains. You will manage sourcing activities, drive early supplier involvement, supply base improvements, and collaborate with Supplier- Quality/Engineering. This role is located in Best, Netherlands.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or supply chain management
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain
  • Strong analytic, communication, and project management skills
  • Understanding of products & component engineering/sourcing
  • Understanding of supply chain- and cost models/drivers

Job Description

As a Procurement Project Manager you will be responsible for MR E2E Business Procurement Program & project activities and will be collaborating in global MR cross-functional teams.

The procurement project manager is located in Best, NL, and is part of the BIU MR Systems procurement team.

In this role you will:

  • Participate in global project teams where as you represent procurement and deliver the required procurement inputs & deliverables

  • Driving procurement activities related to: New Product Introductions (NPI), Lifecycle management- (incl sourcing transfers & concept improvements) and service domain

  • Manages sourcing activities with supplier(s), e.g. RFP/Q, DfX, sourcing plans and agreements

  • Drives early supplier involvement, innovation, value up & productivity

  • Drives supply base improvements (de-risking), supply chain optimizations

  • Collaborate with Supplier- Quality/Engineering, in new supplier/component release process

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or supply chain management

  • 4+ years of experience in a procurement, supply chain, engineering type of role

  • Team player with strong analytic-, communication-, project mgt-  & problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of products & component engineering/sourcing

  • Understanding of supply chain- and cost models/ drivers and productivity optimizations

  • Strategic thinker with a ‘can do’ attitude. Result-driven, able to deliver and make impact

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require a full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
This role is onsite.
