We are a critically acclaimed Swedish game development studio with about 190 experienced and skilled employees. We are most well-known for developing the Warhammer: Vermintide franchise, but have also helped develop a number of AAA titles and we launched the highly anticipated game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
We have grown quite a bit over the last few years, but we still embrace the same values that we started with. We want to build the best first person co-op games together, in an approachable, fun and passion-driven way.
The role
We are looking for someone interested in a mixed role that combines production, personnel management, and outsourcing coordination. As a Producer & Outsource Manager at Fatshark, you will lead a smaller team of senior developers working project-wide, while managing day-to-day outsourcing.
What you'll do
Team leadership and production
- Implement the company’s vision and strategic direction within your team
- Keep a healthy balance between hitting goals and giving room for new ideas and flexibility
- Attract, recruit, and onboard talent while developing existing team members
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure effective team performance
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Monitor team progress, deliverables, and milestones for timely delivery
- Support efficient workflows using Jira and other project management tools
- Optimize both internal product development and external asset pipelines
- Drive studio-wide improvements through the Studio Management forum
Outsourcing
- Establish schedules and roadmaps with outsource partners for asset completion
- Set up internal reviews and manage feedback loops with external partners
- Maintain healthy relationships with outsourcing partners while implementing high standards
- Seek out and assess new partners for potential partnerships
- Balance quality, time, and costs while maintaining studio standards
- Create and review asset briefs with leads and directors
- Ensure security measures and risk mitigation for outsourced work
Required qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in video game development, entertainment, or tech
- Professional experience managing outsourced game assets
- Proven expertise in agile methodologies and project management
- Strong understanding of game development processes and asset creation pipelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional knowledge of Jira and task-tracking software
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)

We have a policy of working 4 days in the office per week, with 1 day optional to work from home. The first month of onboarding will be in the office 5 days a week.
