Product Expert – SAP BASIS/TechOps

The ERP TechOps Operation Lead role is responsible for maintaining the availability, currency, performance, and security of the ERP landscape. Candidates need strong technical and operational expertise across the ERP stack (Application, Database, Operating System) to handle incidents, problems, changes, and service requests. This includes providing technical support and design for ERP Technology solutions, ensuring security and compliance with internal and external regulations, and optimizing technology use for cost-effective business delivery.

Must Have

• Technical Support & design of ERP Technology solutions (Predominantly SAP).
• Ensuring SAP solutions are secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations.
• Guiding and promoting optimal use of technology for cost-effective delivery.
• Supporting delivery and sustainment of complex applications and business capabilities.
• Regularly reviewing risks, compliance parameters, and metrics.
• Ensuring timely review of vulnerability reports and supporting deployment/remediation.
• Supporting the integration of solutions with various technologies.
• Supporting and influencing technical activity (design, build, testing) in complex environments.
• Ensuring solutions are delivered and maintained secure and compliant, including privacy.
• Supporting Partner Governance team for KPIs and service quality.
• Providing guidance and technical support to product teams, mentoring and sharing knowledge.
• Working on Audit needs (technical & Auditors) and SOX compliance.
• Minimum 15+ years SAP Basis hands on and Technical Architecture experience.
• Must have played an SAP BASIS Lead role for a large (50+ instances) SAP Environment.
• Technical expertise in SAP ECC, SAP APO, SAP BW, Azure Hosting, DB – Oracle, HANA, Netweaver, SAP PI/PO, SAP Solution Manager, SAP GRC.
• Azure Compute Management (Linux, Compute & Managed Disk).
• Managing vulnerability for SAP Landscape.

ERP TechOps Operation Lead role requires successful candidate to be responsible for keeping ERP landscape available, up-to-date, performant & secure.

Candidate must possess strong technical & operational expertise to handle all technical aspects across ERP landscape stack (Application, Database & Operating System). This includes handling incidents, problems, change & service request.

Key responsibilities

• Technical Support & design of the ERP Technology solutions (Predominantly SAP).
• Ensuring that all SAP solutions within their technology area are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations. This role involves developing measures, contributing to the Security & Compliance Index, and providing guidance and technical support to product teams.
• To guide and promotes optimal use of technology to support the cost-effective delivery of business requirements within their area of expertise.
• To support delivery and sustain of the complex applications and business capabilities.
• Regularly review risks, compliance parameters, and metrics, supporting deployment and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure timely review of vulnerability reports and support deployment/remediation.
• Supports the integration of solutions with various technologies
• Supports and influences the technical activity (design, build, testing) in complex environment.
• Responsible for ensuring that all solutions within their technology area are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations, including privacy requirements
• Support Partner Governance team to ensure the appropriate KPIs are defined and quality of service from our partners
• Provides guidance, directions and, if needed, technical support to product teams, mentoring and sharing technology knowledge with the teams
• Working on Audit needs (technical & Auditors) and SOX compliance across the landscape
