  • Lead concept testing efforts to visualise and iterate on new product concepts.

Tactical responsibilities:

  • Own and prioritise the backlog, write user stories, and lead sprint planning while ensuring the team always has a well-groomed backlog.
  • Write clear, actionable product specifications to ensure features are implemented with alignment across design, engineering, and QA.
  • Collaborate with production, game designers, engineers, artists, and QA to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
  • Oversee content updates, live events, and feature rollouts.
  • Design and evaluate A/B tests to optimise engagement and monetisation.
  • Work with player support and community teams to gather insights and act as the internal voice of the player.
  • Partner with production to evaluate internal processes and research external tools to improve workflows.

Required

  • 3+ years’ experience in product management roles within the video game development industry.
  • Experience with F2P (free-to-play) games, live operations, or GaaS (Games-as-a-Service).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of the organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of the gaming market landscape, with the ability to rapidly understand and contribute to Exient’s product portfolio.

  • Deep understanding of game development pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven track record of managing feature development, launches, or live services in a game environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the mobile gaming market — and a genuine passion for games.
  • Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, Unity, Unreal, and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and problem-solving attitude.

The following would be considered a plus:

  • Technical literacy and the ability to collaborate closely with engineers.
